What do the different reimbursement statuses mean?

Statuses include Waiting for review, Bank disconnected, Approved, Payment processing, Payment sent, Payment unsuccessful, Rejected, and Canceled — each indicating a stage of review or bank transfer.

Waiting for review — Thatch has received the reimbursement request and it's being reviewed by the team.

Bank disconnected — The linked bank account needs to be re-authenticated before the reimbursement can move forward. To fix it: log in at app.thatch.com/members/settings, select the name menu in the upper left and choose Settings, then select Reconnect bank account.

Approved — The reimbursement has been approved and the bank transfer is queued to start.

Payment processing — The transfer has been initiated. Funds typically land in about 3 business days.

Payment sent — The transfer completed successfully and the money has reached the bank account.

Payment unsuccessful — The payment failed or was returned after it had already gone through.

Rejected — The reimbursement request itself wasn't approved.

Canceled — The bank canceled the reimbursement.
