A "Hold" is money we set aside from your health budget at the start of each month to cover that month's insurance premium. It shows up with a label like "Hold for [your plan] October premium." If your premium changes, for example because you added a dependent or switched plans, you may also see an "Adjustment" to that hold. The adjustment either sets aside more money or puts the difference back in your balance.
What you need to do depends on how you enrolled. If you enrolled in your plan through Thatch, you don't need to do anything. We'll use the money on hold to pay your insurance company for you. If you bought your plan on your own, the hold means the money is ready to use on your Thatch Card. Sign in to your insurance company's website and pay with your card, or set up autopay so your premium gets paid every month.
