Your card isn't issued automatically — you request it from the Cards page, and a virtual card is ready to use within minutes. A physical card ships within 4 business days. You can expect to receive your Thatch card within 6-7 business days after ordering it.
Two things have to be true before you can order one:
• Your employer has finished their business verification. If it's still in progress, the Cards page shows an "Email me when available" button and we'll tell you the moment it's done.
• You're eligible for a card. If Thatch pays your carrier directly and your premium uses up your whole monthly budget, you don't need one — so you may not see the option at all.
