This service checks up to 5 providers across up to 3 plans and takes up to 3 business days, so you'll need at least 4 business days before your enrollment deadline to use it.
Because provider networks change frequently, coverage can't be confirmed with complete certainty until the insurance company generates your member ID. To give yourself the best information before enrolling, we recommend checking multiple sources: our provider search, the insurance company's online provider directory, and a direct call to your doctor's office.
When calling, ask specifically: "Do you accept [Insurance Company] individual marketplace plans?" or "Do you accept [Insurance Company] [State] individual network?" It's important to mention "individual" insurance to avoid confusion with employer or group plans, which often have different networks.
